My father is turning 80 and I really wanted to surprise him with a family tree. We only know roughly where his father and mother came from in Italy. I spent HOURS trying to research on my own and got nowhere! Took a chance with RecordClick and it is AMAZING what they found!! A few times our consultant hit road blocks due to privacy laws, gave me a link to order a death certificate, and was able to get even farther! Overall they were able to get SEVEN levels up - I was hoping for 2 or 3! The output was amazing and communication was fantastic throughout. If you are even considering doing this - JUST.DO.IT! :)

Dr. Kim Aldridge - Wall Breaker Extreme Dr. Kim Aldridge did an awsome job piercing a brick wall I struggled with for many years. She specializes in DNA geneology and not only discovered my true great grandfathers line but also followed and validated it back to the early settlers of the mid 1600's. RecordClick offers you the same quality as the more expensive services found at the more obvious ancestry and DNA websites but at a much better price. And they are honest about estimated time to complete a project. I never felt pressured to buy more time and the justifiable additional time was offered at a discount..

I am so happy to have found them and have used them several times for mystery ancestors, missing records, advice to go forward and frankly learning how genealogy work is supposed to be presented and found. For just under $900 I had 3 people… For just under $900 I had 3 people added to my tree. I’ve never been the type of person to write a bad review I just feel very underwhelmed. Would be less upset if I didn’t describe my situation and have a package recommended to me. I was under the impression that I would have a team for the 10 hour package but it seems just 1 person was assigned to me. You live and you learn.

On my Italian grandmother's side of the family, she was able to go back many generations on both of her parents. On my Italian grandfather's side, she ran into a dead-end. It turns out his father, Graziano Menante, was a "foundling" - a child abandoned at birth. A foundling was given a made-up name by the town clerk. At this point a DNA search is the only option.
