"Secure" avaaz sells our email adresses to third parties!!! Used to sign petitions in "secure" avaaz, but my email box is now full of SPAM every day, starting from sexual email to all kinds of phishing and scams. I never gave permition for my email adress to be distributed. "Secure" Avaaz sells email adresses, and unsolicited emails from Meetic even come with a tittle: «through avaaz», which confirms where all the SPAM came from.

Sadly Avaaz has been corrupted by… Sadly Avaaz has been corrupted by hidden populist political agendas and has left the sacred path of protector of the Earth and its indigenous cultures. Very very sad that Avaaz has become the demon it was fighting.

Donations without my permission In 2017 I did a small monthly donation so they had my creditcard. By 2022 I saw that it ended up in 5 different monthly donations of campaings I have never heard of. I was donating almost 30 euro each month not being aware of it. I have signed some petitions trough the years but not given permission to donation. When I contacted them they refunded me directly for the last year, but not longer than that. I think it's criminal what they are doing so never give them your creditcard and check your account carefully!

Very disappointed in AVAAZ… I am very disappointed to find that many months ago I sent Avaaz a 'once off' donation of R80.00, which they have just kept debiting my account with up until now, the latest date being 5th August 2021. I specifically instructed that this was a once off payment which they are ignoring. PLEASE delete my name from your subscriber list immediately, I do not have the funds to donate. The payment was a single and sincere donation only.

Avaaz supports equal rights for people and planet Avaaz provides support to equal rights for all people and our planet. Especially to those who cannot hire expensive lawyers or those who are up against powerful politicians or corporations who focus on short term gains rather than a fair and prosperous world for all, including future generations. They provide active updates on what they have done with my support, be that in the form of just my signature or a financial contribution.
