GBTotal Scam, Total Scam, they pretend to be the ISP and say that they are seeing errors from the Router. Then they make you look at Event Viewer and Broadspeed.net to say your internet is slow due to your computer. Then they try to get you to install AnyDesk.com software that enables them to take control of your computer satin its needed to connect to central system

GBIt says I got a 35 mbps speed but I… It says I got a 35 mbps speed but I don’t have, many times internet is working very low but speednet.net says I have normal speed. This I checked from different devices. The website was recommended by Vodafone when I complained about the internet speed

GB2*s and people down rating it because they couldn't find a server near them, in the middle of nowhere, no support, oh my days, did you pay for their services then or was it FREE? I've been an IT Technician for over 3 decades and I don't get how ANY person can think this is a scam site, or they offer support, it's FREE, why should they offer support? You don't pay for their service so why should they feel obliged to offer support for free??? It's exactly as the website title suggests, it's AN INTERNET SPEED TEST WEBSITE, there are no popups, there's hardly any advertising on the site, it's not a piece of software, although you can download the app for convenience, so what's the issue and why would you down rate it just because you live in Timbuktu, the phrase not the place(!) and they can't find a near enough server? I've used it all over London, Manchester and places in France amongst other places without any problem, if it doesn't work for you, pick another test site and quit moaning like a little girl!!! I rate it 5*s and no, i don't have any affiliation with the site, the owners, the sponsors or anything to do with it, I've just used it for over 15 years.

GBSTAY AWAY!!!! Speedtest.net IS A SCAM!!!! I received a call on my landline asking about my internet speed, claiming to be from BT Broadbrand. They were very insistent on me needing a "computer". It was a man with an Indian Asian type accent!! He asked me to go on the website and consent. Something told me to check reviews first as the man on the phone seemed unprofessional and suspicious. Upon checking I alerted him to the fact that there were negative reviews of this website. He immediately said "hang up and I will call you back on another line, which didn't make any sense. Needless to say he didn't call back and realised that I was on to him! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! Do not press "I consent"!!
