I love having home compost pick-up I love having home compost pick-up! I'm so appreciative of the job Key Compost does every week. They made it really easy for us to get started here in Park Fairfax. the collection bucket is nice and large--I often leave the bucket out every other week and so far it hasn't been an issue. The staff is really nice and responsive and I haven't had any issues with compost not being picked up. Everyone should have home compost collection!

It makes me happy to be able to have my compostable trash put to use other than filling up the land fills. The composting service is good for the environment by moving compostable materials out of landfills and converting them to usable compost. It helps our community's bottom line by reducing trash collection fees. It also helps keep plastic trash bags out of the wast stream. Since all the messy stuff goes in the compost bin, the rest of the trash is essentially dry so I can use a paper bag to dispose of it.
