A real clown outfit that makes it… A real clown outfit that makes it almost impossible to use. more security hassle then a bank and when you finally get into the limpwristed account it offers very little facility to do anything. I placed a free advert from our business account which, like most of the world, can have anything before the @sign....just like autotrader itself...who also use a 1001 names before the @autotrader.com etc such as accounts, complaints, servic eetc etc..and worse they send you emails from other email addresses too so if we implied the same daft logic we would never get their emails..... so cant list a car because we cannot reply to customers unless we change all our email systems to suit their nonsense. The account also doesnt allow you to answer emails from within the account...so now all we can do is get phone calls which they also manipulate...a total farce and a complete waste of time. Finally autotrader have 2 sites on here..the other is autotrader.co.uk with rigged reviews so i guess they just change the name slightly when they get too many negatives........Im off elsewhere

Wasted nearly £40 in an effort to sell… Wasted nearly £40 in an effort to sell my car. Then all you get when you advertise with them is constant suggestions to spend even more money to sell your car on their website. I'm not really sure anyone looks at Autotrader anymore.

Expensive and lots of scammers Paid for a (very expensive!) advert and immediately received a spam call from someone with a thick Indian accent trying to buy a vauxhall Corsa, then a Ford Kuga ( I'm seeling a Volkswagen!) This is before I received confirmation the advert had even gone live.

Scammers on auto trader Seller called ‘auto city trader’ in slough. Do not buy of them. One of many scammers on auto trader. Selling fully cars. I can’t believe there’s no regulations for these garagers or an organisation who deals with this and actually takes this seriously. I bought a car from this dealer listed on auto trader, car was so faulty should not have passed mot. Mot was fraudulent and done by his mate, gearbox was wired incorrectly parts fitted incorrectly just dont even bother looking on auto trader better to try AA approved cars

They are so woke They are so woke. They clearly work for the dealers which will come back to haunt them as buyers are getting frustrated with using their website. I hate how the site: 1). Defaults to "Include long distance delivery" Only punk yuppies get used cars delivered to them. 2. The site tells me that it is a "Hot Car" and likely to sell within a week. Shut up! I didn't ask for your opinion. 3. Great deal, good deal, fair deal. Again, shut up! I didn't ask for your opinion. 4. Payments? Society is screwed because we are a debtor nation. Everyone would be much better off if we paid cash for everything. Just show the price.
