My Nomad experience The application process was easy- my navigators were quick to answer any questions that I had. I never had any trouble submitting my time sheet for payment. This was my first experience working with a travel agency- I took the plunge after almost 32 years of hospital nursing and I’m so glad I did. I took a 12 week assignment at a small rural hospital- I loved it! Deciding to become a travel nurse was hands down my best decision as a nurse. More money, less stress.

Nomad Health is a remarkable company Nomad Health is a remarkable company. Easy to maneuver the job searches, easy to make your preferences, wonderful, knowledgeable and friendly staff to help you with EVERYTHING. The pay is correct and on time. The benefits are wonderful. (I’m just starting to navigate that) The only improvement I can see is to submit jobs a little faster. It seems to take a few days at times. I am new to travel nursing and I hope I can stay with Nomad to the end. I can’t imagine an easier more efficient way to work, and I gladly tell anyone that will listen.

I would like to suggest that, given my experience with application submissions, that frequently asked questions, some of which are already included in profiles, be included in applications. Questions like: who was your manager, clinical experience, etc. I am a Medical/Surgical/Telemetry RN. I do hope that is already showing in my profile. I am saying this because time is of great essence. Thank you.

My Nomad Navigator is the BEST!!! There has been a few bumps along the way but for the most part Nomad has been fantastic to try out my first travel nursing assignment! As far as I can tell from looking at other agencies Nomad pays the highest rates for the same job offers. My Navigator Raven is AMAZING!!!! I super appreciate her much more than I can even explain!!!! And I really hope I get to keep her for all of my assignments ❤️🙌

Easy to apply The ease of placing in applications are what is most beneficial. Points only deducted because there are hidden assessments needed and you are suddenly bombarded with these when it is not a guarantee to get the position. In addition, if it were known of such assessments, time will be better managed before submitting an entry if knowing one will have to do assessments after. Other than that, things flow well. There are just a lot of emails to stay on top of everything.
