The Selkirk Pro 1 ball is fantastic! The Selkirk Pro 1 ball is probably the best all round ball on the market. It plays fast, holds up well and to a skilled player is a pleasure to control. We play with it indoors as well and found it to be a great alternative to the soft indoor balls currently available. On a professional surface the ball has true bounce but not too much on a professional grade surface. It's definitely a good value.

The Club, Bogus Selkirk Paddle (?) There is a pickleball paddle being sold on Ebay for which I cannot find reviews or identification as an authentic Selkirk brand. It is called Selkirk The Club. I made an offer on Ebay of $40 for and was immediately charged the amount plus s/h. The brand label is a circle pasted on above the handle, unlike the rest of the Selkirk line which makes me question its authenticity. I sought reviews online on the paddle and found nothing. It is a light paddle with a plain, smooth sleeve for a grip. The paddle surface looks thin, clearly revealing the honeycomb structure underneath, a construction not visible on the ad photo. There are sites online masquerading as Selkirk. I suspect this paddle comes from such a bogus company.

Earned loyalty I was already a big fan of Selkirk as they’re the only paddles I use/buy. But the service I just received after making a warranty claim sealed it. The process was very easy, customer service was friendly and clear, and their response was swift. It was exactly 7 days between submitting my claim and receiving my replacement paddle. Awesome!
