Excellent Excellent Service Accepted really helped my daughter finesse her college essay/personal statement. She worked with Marie Todd who was recommended by Linda. I can truly say she was very instrumental in getting my daughter to think outside the box so that her story could jump off the page. Marie helped to fine tune her original idea. Marie took the time to have the hard conversations while being nurturing and patient. My daughter was accepted to 8 universities which included 3 Ivies. She will be attending Columbia this fall. Horrible horrible horrible Horrible horrible horrible. 1 star is too many. I spent near $5000 on accepted “consulting” and it’s a complete sham. First of all, I went with Accepted to get actual consulting regarding application strategy. What they did it just provide me with additional writing prompts for the school application essays which didn’t help at all and were a complete waste of time. The “consultant” had no strategy on how to make me stand out on the application, or what I should highlight about my experience. All they did is ask me what I want to talk about… They were also very late to answering emails every time I had a question and never provided concrete answers to anything - just vague open ended responses. And, as soon as I our paid time was done they stopped responding. I had a simple wrap up question and they didn’t even bother answering. Overall a complete and utter waste of money. Everyone told me not to use them but I didn’t listen. Be careful, in the intro call they make it sound like they know it all and are gonna get you into top programs but after you pay they say let’s apply to just lower tier programs… SAVE YOUR MONEY - STAY AWAY.
