Super informational! Excellent, easy ways to increase engagement in math classrooms along with some pertinent research that has been done on math anxiety causes and work-arounds. I wish it was longer!

I like the strategies and tools told… I like the strategies and tools told about in the sessions. I also like how we were able to try them out live and not have to wait to do it on our own. The articles made me rethink how I do things to better help my students and seeing what others had to say and their thoughts, is helpful to see I am not alone in some of my thinking.

Math Wars has been great! Math Wars has been great in my middle school classroom. In fact, after I implemented it mid-year, one of my 6th graders recently told me that it was "one of the best decisions I've made in the classroom." Kids come in daily asking if we're playing math wars, and several students have commented that they understand the lessons better since we've started using this method. It has made a big difference in their confidence and participation in class. I was hesitant to spend the money at first, but it has been well worth it. Highly recommend!

Excellent all of the way around!! Sessions were always started and ended on time. Sessions were packed with hands-on activities, modeling, and specific and immediatly-applicable tools, strategies, and pedagogy. Excellent all of the way around!!
