Really really bad! Really really bad!! The first couple of weeks were okay, everyone was welcoming and friendly it after that initial few weeks the people who organise it got a bit nasty! Not welcoming, let alone the umpiring!!! Again first couple of weeks were okay then it got very unfair and biased! Umpires are pretty useless, don’t call the right thing, don’t follow the ball on court so wouldn’t enable to call correctly even if they wanted to! They are lazy and unfair!!! I think they need a bit of work and maybe a check with the rule book!! Considering this is such a expensive way to play netball ( ridiculous amount) I would have liked to think that you could spent a bit Of money on training or better umpires! All in all pretty rubbish, there are many other friendlier, cheaper and better leagues to play in! This is the Peterborough league

Play Netball is an amazing community… Play Netball is an amazing community for woman interested in Netball. Everyone is incredibly supportive and friendly, and it’s great exercise! Games are cheap, ranging from £5-£8 and I have made some incredible friendships since joining. Recently changed to an online system, which did take a while to get used too but has made paying for games easier. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to get back into

Would give 0 star rating if I could Would give 0 star rating if I could. Play netball only care about taking everyone’s money. My daughter could umpire better than their umpires. They happily admit their umpires do not need to be qualified even in the basic Into officiating course! Coordinator of the Worthing league is rude. She uses the weather as reasons why she is not making contact/ replayed ball calls. Games are dangerous through the poor umpiring. You try and complain and they don’t care. There are so many other leagues with qualified umpires and so much cheaper. They won’t tell anyone if games are cancelled till 7pm (first game starts at that time) games are cancelled due to lack of umpires. The amount you pay per game you expect an umpire to know what they are doing. Stay clear of play netball.

Not enjoyable Our team were treated badly, not being move up a league in favour for a new team. They seem to be encouraging poor sportsmanship from the teams. They allow teams to completely replace their team with a team from the higher leagues, a basically cheat their way to a win. I was hoping for a fun league that I could play each week and just enjoy it but it became a struggle and was no longer fun. The umpires were mostly ok but there were some that were just unfair and rude. The cost is not worth it at all

Play-netball is too expensive at £5 for… Play-netball is too expensive at £5 for 32 minutes on court time. Local leagues play 48 minutes on court at £2.50 per game. Its great that so many ladies are getting back to netball but if your aim to encourage ladies to get fit, make friends and enjoy the sport you need to acknowledge that you are excluding a significant proportion of our local population.
