Codubee got me an internship Miguel was an excellent mentor and teacher before I had no idea how to code in anything besides C++ as an EE major. By the end of the program I was able to make API calls and knew how to use CSS files and was coding in javascript. This lead me to try other projects within UTD organizations which ultimately helped me land an internship at DELL in backend web development.

Amazing Beginner Friendly Program This program has been extremely helpful and has exposed me to a new area in the field of computer science. I recommend this program to everyone who is interested because it is very beginner friendly. I am thankful to Miguel for teaching me and guiding me through each and every step. The information that I have learned has been very valuable and I can't wait to further my knowledge!

Perfect for Upcoming Software Engineers I've met with a couple of recruiters over the last month and they have ALL asked me about my experience from this program. One company mentioned that they also used Jira and Github, and said that I would fit in very quickly because of my experience from Codubee. Recently, I also had an interview with a company where their internship program was set up almost exactly like this one. They also had teams of 5, worked with ReactJS and used the agile methodology (sprints and standups) to structure their software development team. Since my experience was so similar, I easily got to the next step of the hiring process and will be doing a final interview with them soon đŸ˜† I would definitely recommend this program if you want to pursue software engineering or a related field because it'll help you get one step closer to that goal. Also, if you're worried about the time commitment during the school year, here's my experience with that: I did this program during the spring semester, where we met for about 2 hours a week. This was pretty helpful as it let me stay on top of my classes and allowed me to choose how much time to allocate for the program based on my workload that week. Overall, the meetings were very flexible with our time schedules (especially around finals week) so we weren't stressed about our tasks and had enough time to complete them.

Backend Development experience was great I was knowledgeable with front end technologies but codubee allowed me to understand how the back end of website development worked. Codubee also allowed me to form part of a team and introduced me into the agile software development process. All in all, great program, learned alot!

Pretty good experience I think Codeubee was a pretty good experience! I learned skills outside from working in a practical agile team that have definitely helped me in later roles. If you are looking to get your foot in the door with software development, this is a good place to start for sure, just make sure to put in the effort.
