We had the best experience with IvyWise… We had the best experience with IvyWise so and mainly because of our adviser Christine! Very thorough and patient! We had a great short term and long term plan and were guided every step! And of course the essays Essays that went back and forth over and over until the final ones got my son into 18 schools he applied to! He chose Stanford! Thank you IvyWise! Thank you Christine !! 🌺🌸

Wonderful Dedicated Team The entire IvyWise team was fully dedicated and driven to give our daughter getting into her dream Ivy School (Brown). We went into this fully understanding how difficult it was to get into an Ivy school and did not have any unrealistic expectations. But having the entire IvyWise team behind us I think definitely made a huge difference.

Harsh critiques I liked the fact that the counselors critically evaluated the essays. However, it seemed as if their goal was to make the applicant seem inadequate and unworthy of Ivy League schools. It felt like a condescending environment and process, in general with a primary goal to criticize instead of to help applicants constructively create effective, inspiring and impactful essays. We felt as if it was more of an attack on the inadequacies of an applicant’s essays and application, versus a supportive, educational environment that uses the experience of the counselors to optimize an application. There was almost no advice on how to reword or to rewrite essay prompts. Instead, there was only repetitive criticism. If you’re going to have a group of experienced admissions counselors, they should tie into their experience and expertise in helping applicants, write impactful and inspiring essays, with more direct guidance versus constant critiques without any real answers or solutions. Additionally, the cost to go through the process is extremely high, considering the input and guidance the process provided. For those reasons, I would not recommend IvyWise unless someone had $20k + to blow. I understand the idea of not giving applicants false hope, but what about SOME hope and real concerted guidance to get them as close as possible?

IvyWise Review Christine was a very professional, invested, and knowledgeable tutor who brought a lot of skills to the table. Her expertise definitely elevated my application, and I'm grateful for that. I think she and I were a good match, and it ended up working out!

Fantastic program that helps at every step of the journey IvyWise has been incredibly valuable in helping me get admitted to one of my top schools early decision! My counselor, Carolyn, was reassuring and helpful throughout the entire process, from essay writing to interview prep. She assisted me in crafting my story to ensure I presented my most authentic self in my application. Additionally, my Calculus BC tutor, Kaitlyn, was incredibly helpful in maintaining my school grades, allowing me to concentrate on the college application process. Words cannot describe how skilled and intelligent she is; truly better than any math teacher I have ever had. Furthermore, IvyWise separates itself from other consulting services with its unique offering of roundtable discussions, providing specific and much-needed edits from consultants with different backgrounds and experiences. This was an incredibly huge help that I encourage everyone to take advantage of! I cannot stress how supportive IvyWise has been. It has provided much-needed support at every level, and I am incredibly grateful for their services.
