I met Liesl Matthews with African… I met Liesl Matthews with African Safari Consultants in 2021 (via email) when my boss was planning his 2022 trip to East Africa. International travel was just starting again and there were still a lot of hoops to jump through. I can not say enough great things about Liesl's knowledge and attention to every detail of the trip. She answered every question, guided me through the process to attain visas and all the requirements needed to travel and there were many. Again, planning the 2023 trip to South Africa, Liesl was amazing and took great care in planning a wonderful itinerary. She truly aspires to make the trips an experience of a lifetime for family and friends traveling together.

Great Experience with Daisy and Ilze Daisy and Ilze who helped put our itineray together were very helpful, listened to our requirements, made great suggestions, were accomodating when we had to make changes and even for needs outside of the safari they had contacts and others who could provide the service. All in all, a great experience working with them. The safari, of course, was fantastic!

Africa once more This was our second visit to Africa and both times we have used Southern Destinations. All our dealings have been with the same agent, and she has been extremely helpful in designing a safari that suits our needs. I cannot imagine switching to any other agency and agent. In both of our trips, we were never left in any doubt as to what to expect at any stage during our holiday. We are thinking of our next safari and our agent will hear from us soon.

The best vacation ever Liesl and her company take such pride in giving her clients the best experience ever. She gets to know you and puts a holiday together that you will never forget. She pays such attention to detail and you are taken care of from the time you board the plane til the end of your vacation. She picked two fabulous safaris that meet our needs. The staff were spectacular and gave us a five star experience. She also picked our a private guide for us in Capetown . We felt extremely safe and enjoyed the beautiful culture and people of Capetown. I highly recommend this company. I would rate me experience 20/5.
