Mountain Splendor was one of the first cabins built in the Starr Crest Resort. The resort was a dream become reality by Randy Ussery Construction. Outrageous Cabins has been in business since 2009 and has grown from just 4 cabins to 53. The owner Thomas Gigliotti takes great pride in his cabins and sees to it that each Guest has the best possible stay and experience from the time of check-in to the time of departure.

Overall very nice with a few issues Overall very nice. Had a few issues: hot tub on back porch was leaking onto the swing underneath. Couldn't use the swing without getting dripped on. (We notified maintenance, they never came) Loft bathroom had no privacy as the "opening in the wall that allows for a bath with a view" does not lock shut. Everytime you open or close the bathroom door, it popped open. Loved the huge king size beds. Larger than normal king size beds! Loved the additional loft for the kids. Consider having the trees trimmed as the view will be completely blocked very soon.

The cabin was beautifully furnished and … The cabin was beautifully furnished and very clean. View was magnificent from the balconies! However, hot tub had some parts missing,(fortunately, it still worked.) Mini blinds in livingroom did not operate properly and 1/2of loveseat in livingroom did not recline. In addition, 1/2 of outlet in upstairs bathroom did not work.

Especially For You We also stayed in Especially For You the week before the previous reviewer. We experienced all the same issues and even dropped off a letter at the Outrageous Cabin office the morning we checked out. We called 3 times about the Jacuzzi being stuck- it was on and running the entire last night of our stay with the button stuck. Nobody came that night and we were told it was fine if we had to check out with the Jacuzzi still on before maintenance came out. It was unsettling to leave a major appliance on in a cabin that was unoccupied. I also let them know about the porch light not working and the TV in the bedroom going on and off. Apparently our note did not alert anyone to take action. I am disappointed to see that renters a week after us experienced the same issues. I will say the check in process is very easy. The cabin was kept very clean and the area where the cabin is located made us feel safe because it is not secluded. The views are amazing.

What an amazing experience we had for … What an amazing experience we had for our 45th anniversary! My daughter & husband had stayed at Outrageous Cabins for about 5 years & recommended we book one of their cabins. We chose Live With Passion and it was awesome: very clean, great views, check in and out went smoothly and easy and close access to Pigeon Forge activities! Good response to a complaint about our living room TV not working; it was fixed upon our arrival back to our cabin that same afternoon. Our only suggestions: change the mattress in the loft, clean the windows, gremove the cobwebs outside and top about 20 feet off the tree to the left in the back so the sunset and mountains can be viewed better. WE WILL BE BACK AND STAY AT THE SAME CABIN, maybe at a different time at a little cheaper rate.

We loved the cabin but... We loved the cabin itself! It was so cute and cozy. However it was everything around the cabin we didnt like. I didn't see anywhere in the description that the cabin was directly beside a parking lot for trailers. No one ever parked their trailer there but there were always matience men there. on our whole last day the men mowing parked in that area and we had to listen to their equipment all day. At one point a lawn mower was just sitting there running for over a hour with no one on it. Also the matnence men used the bottom of our cabin for equipment storage and I didn't like that. The cabin was really cute though.
