3 generations in Chile! We were looking for a great family trip for our sons, their wives, and our 3 year old granddaughter. It's hard to meet the needs of people ranging in age from 3 to 62 years of age. We worked with Travelous to find the right balance of adventure and down time that met everyone's needs. Felt protected and well taken care of… Felt protected and well taken care of in countries where traveling on your own would be difficult, time consuming and, perhaps, dangerous. All the details, such as check-ins, tickets to museums, etc., were taken care of. We were able to work with a Travelous representative ahead of time to tweak the itinerary, hotels to meet our desires.

Our Egypt Experience The customer service at airports/facilitating arrival and departures was exceptional. All of the drivers were fantastic. Our tour guide in Aswan and Luxor was terrific. We particularly enjoyed some of the off the beaten path experiences--lunch at the Mud House; Nubian Village, and an unexpected sunset sail on the Nile. Some days itineraries were too long and somewhat exhausting. Also, in Cairo, the tour of the Great Pyramid was scheduled mid-morning. It was so crowded that I aborted and paid to go back the next morning early. I was in and out in under 30 minutes and had a great experience. I recommend that visits to these major tourist attractions be scheduled for first thing in the morning.
