AUA very professional company... We first made enquiries about doing a gorilla safari in Rwanda and a safari in Seregetti in Tanzania back in Dec 2019. After we paid a deposit in Jan 2020, and booked all our flights for the trip in Nov 2020, the pandemic hit.....we finally did the safari 3 years later with much assistance from Amanda from the GS company and she was very helpful and professional in rearranging the whole trip albeit 3 years later! The tour guides / drivers, 4WD, accommodation chosen etc were all top notch and i would not hesitate to recommend this very professional company to book your dream African trip!

GBAs a young American women traveling … As a young American women traveling alone in Africa I always felt very safe & taken care of while I traveled with The Gorilla Safari Company. Everyone that assisted me in planning my trip as well as those who helped me once I was in Africa were very kind & always willing to help. My trip was absolutely a dream come true & I was truly saddened to leave.

ZAGorilla safari co Gorilla safari co. scored when they hired Martin as our guide. He was flexible enough to give us the freedom to make changes as requested. He had his preference for which gorilla family he thought we should visit and that worked out perfectly. The company was flexible in making sure our accommodations changed when Construction made it necessary. All in all we were very happy with both the accommodations the plans and our guide.

GBAmazing trip Have had the most amazing trip. Everything was extremely well organised. Our guide Amos went above and beyond to make sure we got to see and do all we wanted. He was also very knowledgeable about his country and traditions which we found very interesting. All accommodation was lovely, particularly Pakuba Lodge, Murchison and 2 Friends, Jinja. I would absolutely recommend The Gorilla Safari Company for any trip to Uganda

GBTerrific Trip Everyone in The Gorilla Safari Company office was extremely nice, organized, and helpful. I'm glad I arrived a day early to sleep-in and visit the nearby chimpanzee sanctuary. I had terrific, knowledgeable, eagle-eyed guides. We found chimps in the wild after about an hour and gorilla's (truly a once in a lifetime experience) in just a half-hour. With the high altitude, climbing up / out of the rain forest was much tougher than I anticipated. Our safari vehicle was nicer than one's I've previously been in. But a word to the wise, bring along a hemorrhoid ring to sit on (you'll find out why once you're on Uganda roads).
