Fabulous time whitewater rafting over… Fabulous time whitewater rafting over Labor Day. Olivia was an amazing guide. For someone in their early 70s who had not rafted for many years, I was a bit nervous but totally reassured with excellent instruction from Barry as well as Olivia before the trip began. The Adventures on the Gorge program is so organized, fun and happnin...for old and young. Campus is outstanding. Cant wait to return. Mary Ann

2 Day Gauley River Overnight 2 Day Gauley River Overnight PROS The rafting adventure experience was epic from beginning to end. Our guide Wiik was world class and a pleasure to be around. The chef prepared food on the trip was excellent! The overall experience was terrific. There were hot showers at the campsite and unlimited fire wood. CONS The video which was available for purchase was triple the cost of other (lengthier) videos we got and the quality was not up to standard and much shorter than the previous videos we got for one day trips. That felt a bit advantageous and unfair. The trip is not inexpensive and perhaps the video could be included as a complimentary addition.

The Gauley Throwback was a huge thrill The Gauley Throwback was a huge thrill! The six of us enjoyed paddling the upper on day 1, camping riverside with meals provided by the AOTG staff, and a blast on the lower Gauley the next day. We were really spoiled by camaraderie with the other patrons and we all had such a memorable time. While I was not personally offended by any language used by the staff or those on tour, I did have other people's teenagers touring with me and I would have preferred that our guide used words that were less coarse. Nevertheless, it was a trip I had been waiting years to take, and it was well worth it!

Awesome family vacation Our guide,Kevin, was so knowledgeable and awesome! We had tons of fun white water rafting, and will definitely be coming back again in the future. Everything was organized and really well set up even amidst the covid19 precautions. The staff were super awesome and friendly. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for an outdoor adventure full of fun and excitement.

Nice Nice, friendly, helpful, great personnel at the main reception area and at zip line center. The Zipline mgr -Sara?, Boss Lady desk plack, was very helpful and had approached us the evening before and asked if we were being helped. She answered a lot of questions and her customer service attitude convinced me -a hard sell, that this is where we wanted to zipline. My wife and I are 60+ and we both were impressed with the facility.
