CALovely 5 days Lovely 5 days. One hotel and reasonable pace of activities, not to mention the perfect weather made for an enjoyable " tour". Highlights were wine tasting and lunch in Chateau Neuf de Pape and swimming in the sea in the pretty town of Cassis. Despite how close to perfect it all was I still find the cost to be very high. I guess my Canadian dollar doesn't go very far!

GBThis is a wonderful tour This is a wonderful tour, the result of extensive planning. The meals were exquisite. A full schedule of activities, and alternate activities were available, and the guides gave us flexibility as possible. The hikes were fantastic, varied in scenery and rigor. Philippe was amazing as a guide, very caring and thoughtful. It’s clear as you move through town that he is well respected. The only thing holding this tour back from five stars is one adolescent guide who blathers on, tells awful jokes, and laughs at himself-it gets old.

GBOff The Beaten Path Tour of Provence is Perfection. We were very happy with how we were accommodated with the hotel, the transportation and the meals. Christy has designed a perfect tour of beautiful surroundings, history and culture. Phillipe and Summer, our guides are incredibly friendly and took very good care of us the entire time. They provided information about each place which added to our connection and enjoyment of the places. Our driver Phillipe2 was excellent, always friendly and drove safely. We spent the month in France, but this week with our Off the Beaten Path guides and the group stood out and we will cherish our memories of our tour always. Carrie and Bill

GBLoire Valley Delight NO HOTEL HOPPING caught my eye! Everything we needed was there for us. The Loire Valley Tour was a fantastic experience. Guide, Christy, was so knowledgeable concerning the royalty and four chateaux, even humorous but so interesting. Our chauffeur, Christine drove us carefully from city to city and threw in many interesting tidbits regarding French history, as she is a native of the area. The cooking classes (and eating and drinking absolutely delicious wine from the area) were a favorite of mine...hands on experience with the best master chefs. I was able to cook some of these recipes when I returned home. Thank you to Damien, Louisa and Fred, Angelique and Christoph, our master chefs who welcomed us into their homes or restaurant. The OTBP Loire Valley Tour does not disappoint, it delights!!! Merci, Pat Weichle

GBFrance Off the Beaten Path-Provence We can not thank France Off the Beaten Path for an amazing time in Provence enough. Philippe and David were wonderful. We enjoyed the vineyard walks, the villages, and the food. Making chocolate with Joel Durand was incredible. The cooking class with Catherine magnificent. Came home and made the ratatouille! This was our fourth time with France Off the Beaten Path-Burgundy, Loire, Bordeaux, and now Provence. Highly recommend any of their amazing tours. Look forward to going with them again. Merci Beaucoup!
