CABad travel arrangements / good tours Houston - Quito - Galapagos: bad scheduling: arrived Quito hotel 105 a.m. wakeup call at 4 a.m.; hotel 45 min. drive from airport. Houston - Chicago- Vancouver: not a logical routing; not enough time in Houston to make connection; had to rebook but got a more logical routing via LA to Vancouver. Tours / local transportation / local guides-drivers: all good Overall rating: 2.5/5

GBOur Travel agency has recently used South American Vacations Our Travel agency has recently used South American Vacations 3 times for our clients who have wanted a dream vacation. Each trip was different and seemed complicated to put together but Alan and Martha had no problem designing a perfect itinerary. Flights, hotels, tours, transfers and guides were all perfectly planned. Each client raved about their trip. I would definitely recommend this company if you are looking for repeat clients!! It's a win win!! Joni Cohen ECCS/LCS

GBWhat a trip!!! We travel a lot and on our bucket list were the Galapagos, Machu Picchu and Lake Titicaca. Picked SAVacations out of the blue and couldn't have been more pleased. Alan and Martha were terrific. Everything was outstanding: guides, accommodations, experiences. This will not be our last trip using SAVacations. Would recommend this tour company to anyone interested in South America.

GBAn exciting hassle free trip While working in Chile we decided to visit Easter Island and Machu Picchu. We used SAVacations to arrange our travels.. They booked airline reservations, hotels and tours. All went according to plan. We chose 3 star hotels which were great. We were met at all airports and tour guides were always on time. We would definitely use SA Vacations again for travel to South America.

GBTop Rated Vacation to the bottom of the world. Our trip to Antarctica was the greatest adventure. South America Vacation made sure from start to finish that we would be helped at each stopover. The travel to our final destination was enhanced by setting up mini tours at each location and pickup and stop off at the airport. The expedition ship was the best way to see as much as possible Antarctica close up and often. With two excursions on land a day we were able to see wildlife and landscape up close. The staff on the ship was devoted to us having a good experience. The daily seminars, gourmet meals, and personal support was made possible by the smaller ship experience. They treated us like family. Definitely a first rate vacation made possible by Alan and Martha of South American Vacations.
