Informative guide and beautiful scenery What a great trip! Kayaking is the ultimate way to explore the swamps. We paddled through a beautiful, cypress laden wildlife management area where our guide was able to point out several owls, egrets and even a small alligator which I guess is a rarity in late November. We learned a lot about the area’s history and environmental issues facing Louisiana’s delta. Will definitely be back!

What a blast ! What a blast ! The swaps were so beautiful with all those ancient majestic cypress trees. We saw snakes and gators and butterflies. The guides were excellent too, hilarious and full of arcane knowledge. My friends teenage kids even had fun after they got off their frigging phones ; ) We would totally go again next time we’re back in New Orleans !

We took the last Mystic Manchac tour of the day and it was just just magical, we saw urban alligators. The whole environment was so soothing. This is a must-do if you visit New Orleans.

Aside from the amazing food these guys recommended, the tour was a beautiful paddle through moss covered cypress trees. Jeffrey our guide made sure we were comfortable and well educated about the many issues with protecting these beautiful wetlands and also the benefits they provide. Thanks again for a great time! 🙏🏻
