GBA first class travel company International Expeditions (IE) is one of two companies that I consider to be well above the rest. I have made several trips with IE and they go first class on everything. Every detail is taken care of by both the administrative personnel and the guide staff on the trip. I highly recommend IE to anyone looking for a first class travel company where all you have to do is sit back and enjoy your trip without any worries.

GBI have traveled with IE at least 6… I have traveled with IE at least 6 times and have experienced nothing but very high satisfaction with all aspects of the trips. The guides are exceptional. They have solid knowledge of the cultures and of the natural history of the area. They are organized and always congenial, and go out of their way to meet any special needs or requests of individual travelers. Accommodations are comfortable, clean, and well situated in the site of the visit. Transportation, be it bus or boat, fully meets the needs of the passengers. I look forward to my IE travels knowing I will be extremely happy with my trip experience.

GBThese folks know how to do it right These folks know how to do it right. Everything was beyond our expectations. The transportation was clean and on time, the drivers knowledgable, the guides were personable, helpful and with expert skills (with rafting, rappelling, hiking and horseback riding). Food they prepared was tasty and interesting. The other dining was exceptional-tasty, well presented-all good choices. I could not recommend them more highly.
Long-time customer
GBGood company, becoming too expensive over time Company treats return customers well. Could work on communication (difficulty reaching people via phone during the day, things not explained clearly, mistakes in documentation). While they do offer some trips with no single supplement (limited to only cruises and just a few cabins), overall their single supplements are overpriced. I have been traveling with them for >10 years and they are pricing themselves out of the market. They need to add more unique trips for the 40-60 age group (active but not athletic). They are nature focused and have a good presence in S. Amer, but missing some key destinations like Brazil (Pantanal) and Panama (these are only offered for a custom trip which is not affordable). Their guides are some of the best I've had, always knowledgeable and friendly.

GBGuides made the difference Peru amazon, ship and accomodations were better than I expected. Meals and food were great. Multiple daily excursions to see wildlife were the highpoint of the trip. The guides really knew what they were doing and seemed as excited about seeing and finding Amazon wildlife as we were. Village visits and the cultural education our guides imparted gave me the sense of life and living in this region.
