This is THE place to stay when visiting NYC for the first time with an amazing view!. A GREAT VIEW, remodeled space and great staff! What more could you ask for? Our room was CLEAN, with plenty of room and a very MODERN design and layout. The location can't be beat. We pulled up to The Ravel at 9:30pm, unpacked our luggage, found a FREE parking spot, and hopped on a shuttle to the closest subway and was sitting down for dinner in TIME SQUARE by 10:30! Walking back to the Hotel at 2am we were a little nervous, but never saw a soul, just a few cars drove by. And did I mention THE VIEW!?! It was amazing! We will definitely stay there again on our next trip to NYC. PLUS a very fair price!

The Ravel is an easy commute and a great NY bargain. We were not sure staying in Long Island City across from Manhattan would work out. It works just fine! The Ravel shuttle can whisk you to subway stations and in a few short minutes, you're enjoying New York. The hotel staff could not have been more helpful and accomodating. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Spacious rooms with great of the skyline. I recently booked a queen deluxe room for my stay at the ravel. I requested a room with a city view. Upon checking in i walked in my room and realized i did not have a view, the front desk informed me that queen deluxe rooms do not offer city views but they had upgrade options. I upgraded to a penthouse. it turned out to be a great stay, room was big and the view was amazing. Friendly staff and very convenient location. Shuttle service was a big plus.
