A great way to taste both the North and South Islands of NZ Well organized, great cycling options each day, terrific stops on both islands. This is my fourth Santana Adventure and I'm looking forward to two more that I've already happily booked.

Santana cycling cruise to New Zealand This was our first Santana trip and we will definitely be back! We loved the opportunity to vacation with so many other cyclists. Being on a boat for the entire trip allowed us to unpack once at the beginning of the trip and then not have to pack up again until the end of the trip. That was a nice feature of a cycling cruise. The cycling was challenging but there were route options to fit every rider ability. The trip was well organized and despite the number of people on this trip it still had a personal touch. Santana does a great job, their experience shows. The trips are more expensive than other outfitters but I think the difference is in the cost of the boat. In my opinion it’s worth it.

Worth every penny The whole trip was very well organized and all the support people were very patient and put up with a lot of questions. The logistics were very well done and getting from point A to B was very smooth. I would definitely do another Santana trip. The only thing that missed was that I was under the impression that I could "rent" CO2 cartridges. I thought that I would put down a deposit for them and get my money back if I returned them. I was literally told by the person who I paid, "I hope to be buying these back at the end". When I returned the cartridges, I was told there was no money returned. Not really a big deal in the greater scheme of things but definitely was not communicated correctly.

Japan Cruise by Santana Adventures The Japan Cruise was a great experience. Santana Adventures provided all of the necessary information in a timely manner. All of the details were taken care of. Bill and his staff were there every day to answer any questions. The pre and post tour hotels were wonderful. The M S Star Breeze is an excellent cruise ship. The choice of sightseeing locations was all encompassing. This is truly a vacation that I will long remember.

We loved the Japan trip! We went on the second Japan trip (Kobe to Tokyo - roughly the same routing as the first Tokyo to Kobe trip but in reverse order), and our experience was great. Excellent routes with safe roads, gorgeous countryside, and fun things to see. Mikey, who you can see on Cycle Japan on PBS, created fantastic routes and gave entertaining route talks. With the high quality pavement on back roads with small cars slowly driven by people who are careful about cyclists, Japan is a great place to cycle tour.
