Multi-sport trip to Iceland We travel a lot, but just took our first trip with Classic Journeys a few weeks ago. Our small group "multi-sport" trip to Iceland was simply wonderful, from glacier hikes and ice caves, to riding Icelandic horses on the black sand beach, to hiking or snorkeling in the mid-Atlantic rift between tectonic plates. Our guide was one of the best we've ever had, incredibly knowledgable and just fun to be with. We'll travel with Classic Journeys again!

Our superb, experienced, caring, responsible and fun guide, Alessandro along with the beautiful people who made up our group enhanced the beauty of our Classic Journeys experience. The tour itself was true to the itinerary outlined when I booked our tour. It was truly a “walking and cultural experience “ each and every day. We tasted wine, amazing cheeses, unique and incredible dining experiences (a different place each night). We visited less tourist driven villages and really got to feel the heartbeat of Tuscany. I loved each of our hotels as well as “The Villa” we stayed in. Each place had its own unique character and charm as well as luxury as defined with the context of the hotel. There is “a walk” scheduled each day with the option to stay on the bus and ride to the end destination. By the way our driver Michela was superb. I have high expectations and I was not disappointed or dissatisfied at any point. Enjoy your classic Journey!!

This was an incredible journey. This was an incredible journey. From start to finish, everything fell into place and made our trip comfortable and enjoyable. The Galápagos Islands are a world of their own and our very knowledgeable guide (Alfredo) knew every nook and cranny. We were up close and personal with giant tortoises, swam with Sea turtles and penguins and baby sea lions. Met a host of marine iguanas sunning on boardwalk and pathways as well as adult sea lions. Hotels, restaurants, and special venues served up delicious local specialties and beverages. Truly, a trip to remember.

Our trip to Tuscany and Cinque Terre… Our trip to Tuscany and Cinque Terre was fantastic with Classic Journeys. Our guide, Luciano, was absolutely the best! Not only was he unbelievably knowledgeable but he thought of every single detail to make our trip so memorable. It was as if every stop and experience was perfectly curated just for us.(the scenery, the visit to the sheep farm with the unbelievable freshly made pecorino, the lovely villa where we stayed in Tuscany, hiking stops for photos at just the right spots, the restaurants that provided the true taste of Tuscany, and even the evening serenade of Italian songs on our way home from dinner--all made us feel very special.)

(Covid) Deposit rolled over to next trip Rescheduled for May2022. Cancelled by company:insufficient amount of enrollees. Company refuses to return deposit. Will credit it towards a future trip.
