About Image Tours

Roelof Postmaa, Sr., an educator in The Netherlands, founded Image Tours in 1939 in Amsterdam. He began taking his students and their parents on trips as a hobby. Recognizing people’s need for guidance in planning their travels, Mr. Postmaa developed a successful business hosting tours throughout Europe. He firmly believed that travel broadens one’s horizon and enriches one’s mind. Mr. Postmaa’s son, Roelof Jr., began assisting his father in the family business while still in high school. Roelof Jr. opened an office in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1960 and began offering the company’s signature HEART OF EUROPE ® tour to groups such as fraternal organizations, employee associations, churches, school choirs, orchestras, and marching bands. In 1986, the company began partnering with travel agencies to offer their escorted Europe tours to the general public, thereby becoming firmly established throughout the United States. Today, Image Tours is led by Monique Kasmauskis, the daughter of Roelof Jr., and her husband, Mike. They, along with all the Image Tours associates, are dedicated to providing Superior Value with a Personal Touch. Thanks to this dedication, Image is often praised by both travelers and travel agents for courteous service, meticulous traveler preparation, and flawless execution of its tours. Our HEART OF EUROPE ® tour has endured since 1960, and has been enjoyed by thousands of first-time travelers to Europe. Heart of Europe Tour The tour guide and bus driver were excellent. It was a good balance of guided tours, free time and bus travel time.

Image has been a great tour company Image has been a great tour company. This was our third time to go with them. The tour guides and bus drivers have been wonderful and have provided lots of history about the places we visited. Image includes more meals than many companies with several dinners including beer or wine. Additional tour guides are furnished for some areas which give you more in depth description and history of some of the cities. Image also takes care of getting luggage off the bus and to the room and loads it in the morning. Overall Image provides a great experience for a reasonable price.

This was our second trip with Image… This was our second trip with Image Tours. Like before, the tour guide was outstanding. He always went above and beyond to make sure everyone's needs were met. The Italy tour pace was brisk but we saw and experienced so much. The food and hotels were fantastic. Take advantage of the optional excursions and you will realize an even greater value.

Image Tours provided an outstanding tour experience Image Tours provided an outstanding tour of Scandinavia and the Baltics. Our tour guide, Richard Munning, was terrific. Richard is very knowledgeable of each country visited, and he provided us with excellent suggestions on how to spend our free time. The travel by bus, the various hotel accommodations, the local tour guides, the optional excursions were great. Richard's caring and thoughtful leadership made this trip an exceptional travel experience.

Terrific European trip Our tour guide, Ron was awesome! Everything, including transportation, hotel stays, and most meals, and excursions were ALL taken care of! Even transfers to and from the airport. We’ve never been to Europe before, and the immersive type of the tour was very impressive. We didn’t stay @ chain hotels, but boutique and family owned properties. We were able to experience the true culture and people of the various countries we traveled.
