GBThe tour was fabulous The tour was fabulous. Great tour guide in Argentina. Ok hotel in Buenos Aires- some problems with air conditioning. Our customer service with Annette was very poor. If we use this company again we will be looking for a more helpful, less condescending tour manager.

GBThe tours were too long The tours were too long. the first one was 12 hrs on the bus and the second one was 11 hours on the bus . this was due to traffic. We are sorry we did not see many of the scenes that are advertised. we did not see any nice places with the clear water and lovely flora. At least one of these places would have been nice. The trip to the orchid gardens was wonderful.

GBAbsolutely Wonderful Our pre-cruise tour could not have been better! I feel this is where a TA really shines because anyone can put you on a cruise and the cruise line has the game down pat, but the land tours are where a the great TA's rise to the top! and EJ definitely rose to the occasion. Everything from the flight to the hotel to our AMAZING tour guide, to the food, etc, etc, etc, was absolutely amazing.

GBWe loved the Iguazu pre-tour and tours in Rio We loved the Iguazu pre-tour. It ended up to be a private tour with a wonderful guide, Antonio. The Bourbon Eco Resort was a great hotel with a nice little rescue zoo. It was walking distance to a shopping mall which was convenient. Seeing both sides of the falls was perfect. We really enjoyed dinner the first night at the hotel. The lunch buffets at the national parks at the falls were poor. It would have been better to not include lunch. We could have snacked and had more sightseeing time, then an include dinner at the hotel those nights too would have been best. There really were not other restaurants around and the hotel food was good. We really appreciated the prompt transfers on both of our arrivals at the airport (Andre and Sergio) in Rio and being met by Antonio in Iguazu. The Miramar hotel in Rio was great. The location on Copacabana beach near the end leading to Ipanema beach allowed us to take long walks and see the sunset over the beach. We felt safe with all the police presence. The tours were all great and we enjoyed the speciality drink making on Sugar loaf mountain. Our guide Sergio was good but not great. He was timely and competent. The dinner at the hotel the first night was great. The included lunches and the farewell dinner were poor. The steak houses are a tourist traps and the food was not good. The farewell dinner was at Fogo de Chao, a chain restaurant which we have here at home. It was very crowded and noisy with poor service and food. Wine was not included which is expected at a farewell dinner. Everyone in our group said the dinner would have been much better at our hotel which we enjoyed the first night. The bus driver was very good and our transfer to the airport smooth. The included tour in Salvador was good, but not great. It would have been good to do a walking tour from the port and take the special big elevator up to the top for the views. We saw only 2 of the 3 scheduled museums since our ship docked late, which was fine. The included lunch was good but took way too much time out of our touring time. Service was slow. Note: We had a glitch on our first day arrival (3/6) at the Miramar Hotel. They said they did not have our reservation. After a phone call they confirmed our room. They upgraded our room to ocean front for the inconvenience. Also your company told us the hotel would store one piece of luggage each during the time we were at Iguazu falls. They told us they never do that because they have a very small luggage room and worry about security. We showed them our written documents that you provided and eventually the manager agreed to store our luggage for those 3 days. It appeared both of these issues may have been communication between Enrichment Journey personnel and hotel staff during the time of making the reservation.

GBFun in Argentina We had a FANTASTIC guide. Her name was Ausaland- probably the wrong spelling. She was with us every step of the way. We also liked that there were only 18 of us in the group. We had a chance to connect with everyone. The excursions we went on were all great. Except one restaurant visit was not up to par. I can’t remember the name of it, but it faced the water. Our highlight was our trip to the Falls. It was truly amazing! Also, lunch out in the countryside with the gauchos. A very fun day. All in all, a wonderful experience!
