Intercontinental Dublin - 5* Luxury on Dublin's Doorstep This is a superb Intercontintental hotel. It is well located in the renowned Ballsbridge area in Dublin. The hotel is well connected by bus, trams and roads allowing easy connection to Dublin city. The location is surrounded by nice views. The hotel has a great restaurant, health gym, swimming pool and parking facilities. Breakfast options are excellent. The staff are friendly & welcoming and do their very best to help you enjoy your stay. The Executive rooms are really great and comfortable especially the super king size bed ! If you are visiting Dublin I would highly recommend this hotel. Thank you for a very memorable stay in Dublin. Top marks !

Zero stars - Bad service, terrible customer service I stayed at this hotel the night before a flight. As most will know, when you stay in a hotel like this, you pretty much wake up, shower and go! I went to have a shower, grabbed the towel and as i went to use it, noticed the most disgusting stains! Not having another towel i had to use a hand towel. One further inspection, not only was the towel stained, but also had a terrible smell to it. Not bad for a 4 star hotel hey? This may seem petty, but a 4 star hotel should be able to provide 1 good towel! I had to literally run from the hotel to a taxi, which left me no time to complain, but wanted to do it when i returned. I sent a tweet this morning and result, they replied with the following - Sorry to hear that. We’d like to help. Pls email contact, res info & room # w/ handle name to (email address) @CrownePlaza I emailed all the details over, thinking "what a speedy reply" They then replied to my email with a generic email saying sorry and they passed my details on. I asked how this helps me? they replied to say they have it on file. On file? I replied again to say HOW DOES THIS HELP ME????? In summary, when you complain via social media, they do all they can to make it look like they will help, you provide them with all details and add it to a file! So when they say "we'd like to help" they actually mean waste more of your time!

This place is unbelievably bad This place is unbelievable. The week I stayed there a drunken woman accosted me in the lobby at 3:30 in the morning. I had gotten up early to do a load of laundry and she came into the laundry room and breathed alcohol fumes in my face, offering me a beer. I ended up calling the police on her. They have grills on the patio, but the patio is primarily used by people who smoke and if you go out there and there are people smoking, it practically chokes you. The grill does not ignite with the ignition switch and you have to use a ligher to light it manually. When I wrote a review on another travel website, the owner saw it and had an absolute fit. He ordered me to take the review down or I would have to leave the hotel the next day. I amended the review slightly, but it was still honest. He didn't like it and as a result, I was asked to leave. They have free laundry facilities. but the heavy door to the fitness room/laundry room is often propped open by a trash can overflowing with all sorts of garbage. It is often not emptied for day. I thought Alfred, the clerk who works at night was a nice guy, but you can barely hear him when he speaks and when I had to call one night that he was there, I didn't even know if he was still there. I could hear him breathing, but he didn't respond. The phone in room is so muffled you can barely hear the front desk staff if they call you. Stay away from this place. If you call their corporate headquarters, you are on hold forever.

Horrible Hotel Should Be Condemned. We had reservations for Candlewood Suites in Ft Myers, FL. When we pulled in, the place looked mostly condemned. We had reservations for another Days Inn, and they said this was a very nice hotel. My partner is handicapped and has problems with stairs. We were told there were no elevators and the whole bottom level of rooms was closed due to a hurricane, as was the pool. This property should be condemned. Desk person was very nice, though, and she got our reservations canceled and the money returned. But the hotel itself is just horrible.

Very good customer service. Spoke to Vijay at the InterContinental London (The O2), regarding my booking for three deluxe rooms (taking the kids to see Ariana Grande and then spending the night). Wonderful customer service, answered all my questions in detail, referred me to his colleagues when required and offered direct follow-up if I needed to - nothing was too much trouble. Now that's customer CARE! (Some companies, once they get your money it's game over for you). Thankfully, this is NOT the case here.
