Your Travel Mates a SCAM It is supposed to be a place where you can meet people. However, after you create your account, they start flooding your mailbox with messages from fake accounts, not real people. For every message you will want to read or send they will prompt you to pay $17, while you're thinking you communicate with real people.

They started out as a great site. Good concept, but its implementation has gone completely wrong recently. There is way too many scammers! Having wasted 10 months on YourTravelMates I wasn't able to find a single lady who woud be willing to meet for real and travel together. I believe that it's gradually turning into rip off and complete scam which is a pity, it used to be a good site!

YourTravelMates is not really about finding a travel mate, it's just about ripping you off using all kinds of methods and tricks. By the way if a profile has a "curator" it means that you will be talking to someone else and she or he will be just making money on you.
