The real Uruguay experience This was a unique experience as it was structured different than many other study abroad programs. There were not pre-planned cultural activities, which I personally liked because I was able to see what I wanted to see on my own terms. My internship placement at a law firm was absolutely perfect. The staff in Uruguay was great too. However, housing was falsely advertised so be aware that it is a 3-bedroom house with one room being the Spanish teacher's, and not 5-8 American students as advertised.

I had an amazing time here I had an amazing time here. I learned a lot and had so much fun traveling around here. I had never ridden english before so this was all new. They were very patient with us. I came in with some equine A&P knowledge but I definitely was able to broaden that knowledge. The equine fitness was all new to me. I learned a lot about making a fitness plan to get a horse ready for different types of competitions. I really enjoyed traveling around Scotland. I did a lot on my own but also had some prearranged trips with the program that i really enjoyed as well.

Had the best time! I did a legal internship in Oaxaca for three months with Adelante and it exceeded my expectations. I met the best people and lived in a great location with a kind host family and the best internship placement. My spanish has definitely improved thanks to the spanish lessons at the beginning as well as all the other people I met including those at my internship who were very patient and taught me a lot of legal and complex terms. If you are independent and enjoy exploring the city and having great opportunities for cultural immersion and meeting new people this is definitely a great program and excellent value for money. It really helped with my university application and I will definitely be returning to Oaxaca!

My internship abroad was an incredible… My internship abroad was an incredible experience. I learned a lot and my Spanish improved even further because I was able to use it every day with my host family when you are out and about, and with my coworkers. The staff was organized and responsive. However, I would recommend that the Spanish courses should be based on the level of Spanish because I found it not interesting because I had to learn the greetings and grammar. I did find the Chilean Spanish, food, and culture part of the course informative and fun! Thank you
