It began when we received a hefty PG&E bill in July, prompting me to look into solar options, specifically wanting a Tesla battery. Mei, our Energy Consultant, was forthright and clear about the delays associated with the Tesla battery, and introduced us to the Sunpower Sunvault. After an additional week of diligent research, we decided to proceed and sign the contract. The installation team was exceptional, completing the project in just one day.

we got quotes from a bunch of different… we got quotes from a bunch of different places and the prices were all over the map. You've got to watch out, because some of these cheaper options are cutting corners with low-quality stuff from China. We decided to go with SolarSesame in the end because they were offering top-notch gear and service at a fair price. They really did their homework, looking into what we need now and what we might need down the line, and they sized the system just right. After chatting with them, it clicked that a couple of the other, more questionable solar companies had tried to lowball the system size to make their price seem more appealing. When the install day came around, the crew was here bright and early and didn't pack up until everything was done, all in one day!
