I came to Cottman of Manassas with my … I came to Cottman of Manassas with my 2000 Dodge Dakota 5 speed manual shift, the truck would not go into 5th and reverse after repairs from an auto shop that wanted me to buy another transmission. I went to a Cottman professional tranny shop instead. Cottman delivered by repairing the original transmission gear box. Leonard, the owner/operator was very fair and professional. Cottman was also accommodating when I had to leave the truck a few days after it was complete due to work travel. Cost estimate was spot on, even applied a military discount. Great job with no issues!!!!!

Everyone hates to have to put their car … Everyone hates to have to put their car in the shop. It is especially difficult to think of the high cost of transmission rebuild or replacement. It is great that we have an honest and upfront shop like Cottman here in Manassas to tell us exactly what we need, perform quality work, then also stand behind what they say and do. This is the second time I've dealt with … This is the second time I've dealt with the Cottman crew and all I can say is thank you Dr. Leonard for service.. First a transfer case on my 2006 STS AWD Cadillac that GM couldn't even quote a price on,second a starter on the same vehicle.. Great Service Great Service. I thought I had a transfer case or transmission rebuild on my hands which would have been really expensive. They found a much more minor issue and got my Landcruiser back on the road.
