I called three transmission shop's I called three transmission shop's; Aamco after their "diagnosis"of the problem insisted I replace the tranny at a cost of $3700. The second shop told me he thought I didn't need a new tranny and to try a tune-up first( he was right!!) and Cottman said if I need a new tranny, they could install for over $1000 LESS THAN AAMCO!! That got my attention! After taking the vehicle to Cottman, they told me I DIDN'T NEED A NEW TRANNY but rather a tune-up and to replace a couple of worn parts- which they did for a very reasonable price!!!👍👍😀 I SAVED OVER $2000 by using Cottman!!! SHAME ON YOU AAMCO!!! You'll NEVER get another dime from me!!! Thank you Cottman for being HONEST!! You have my respect and future business!!!

Emergency repair Our transmission went out during a return trip.from NY. Had AAA tow our car to our Cottman in New Castle De. My suspicions were confirmed and we needed a new tranny. Cottman went to work and presented several options. We choze to repkace our trans. We were given a fairr price and within a short period of time we were back on the road. The car has never run better. We enjoyed the communications at each step and our questions were answered promptly and we feel honestly. Thank you
