I have rented a car in Los Angeles I have rented a car in Los Angeles international airport, car was rented through Miles car rental, final company was Dollar. At 1 am was in the office long list of customers waiting for a car, officer told us that we should wait for 2 hours. Finally we have wait for 1 hour, but service was terrible. Dollar has charged me additional fee above agreed price in Miles rental.

Dollar, Hertz and Affiliate don't rent I rented a Van for my family trip in Tampa. The wkly rate was required to pay when I confirmed rental back in August 2023. When I arrived I didn't have the original CC charged so their unfriendly system wouldn't allow the rep at the Tampa Counter to bring up my reservation, which by the way was only to be fuel, taxes and airport fees being charged in April when we arrived in Tampa. Well the rep required me the customer to get out of line and call an 800 number to have the CC changed. Well after the rental completion I was charged the entire cost of the rental of 8xx.xx which included the original charge of 565.07 for rental week. You need to know that unless your renting or picking up you get no real service from Dollar/Hertz you must fill out online form and wait for callback. Well I finally went thru all my CC statements found the unit charge of 55.07 and then a refund of 465.07 they added 100.00 more so my 8xx.xx weekly rental finally cost me 9xx.xx. I would highly recommend not doing business with Dollar Hertz and all affiliates. H.Gilman I'm still waiting for callback to explain they sent refund to initial CC and why they took extra 100.00.

For a customer from a distant land For a customer from a distant land, a rental car( & an active GPS) is a prime sanctuary. An approachable front desk colleagues makes it much enjoyable rather than a gauntlet.

Quick, easy, affordable. Quick, easy, affordable. Shuttle from airport to car rental area was easy to find and ran often. Line was long-ish at rental desk, but went by quick, several agents were working. Vehicle was new and looked clean. Return was easy, drop and go. Overall very satisfied.

1 Star Rating is too generous. 1 Star Rating is too generous. MY CREDIT CARD WAS OVER CHARGED BY $464.91 I have made several attempts to resolve the issue via communications on their customer service website and over the phone. The most recent attempt to speak to a person form your company over the phone ended in your employees disconnecting the call; most recently on April 1. This has been the typical treatment for most phone calls in which I was able to connect to another person. I experience long hold time and after explaining the situation they hang up. Car rented thru Expedia. Dollar did not give credit for $204 payment and then charged me $260.91 for 9 days car rental for a vehicle that was in their possession on their parking lot. I HAVE BEEN OVER CHARGED BY $464.91
