GBClaims to be free but isnt Claims to be free, because their mission is to provide free and accurate vehicle history details to the average person before they put their money into a vehicle. However, when you go to access the report, it costs a minimum of $12. Nothing to use here is free. False advertising

GBFake buyer asked me to get history report very I got an email from someone supposedly very interested in buying my car who said they first needed a history report which was available as a part of my add but they suggested I could get one from vincheckpro and provided a link. Total scam, fake buyer, fraudulent interest to sell fake history reports.

GBGullibility tax The $6.95 for the report is a gullibility tax. It had no information other than the vehicle specs, not even the color of the car. The car's owner was at fault in a serious crash which was reported to and covered by its auto policy. There's an outstanding repair recall. The owner died and the tabs expired two years ago. There's a lien on the title. The car was stolen. Before the theft was reported the thief took it to a mechanic who updated the mileage in a system other services accessed but this one didn't (last reported mileage was 39,000 miles, this report showed 19). Most of that information should have been in the report. If you're buying a used car, just spend the extra money for a real report from AutoCheck or CarFax. Saving $20 or $30 on the vehicle history will cost you so much more in the end.

GBTotal scam Total scam. I bought a package of 5 reports. The very first report, upon which I paid the package showed "Oops", then a report for another car came in. When I tried to look up for another VINs it was always asking to make a payment. Escalated dispute to PayPal. There is no phone number or chat support (those were the signs I missed) and no email replies. Now I'm wondering how with only the negative reviews on the most sites it's still on the first Google page if looking for VIN report. Stay away.
