NLAfter 1.5 year still no functioning lock. DON'T EVER BUY After 1.5 year still no functioning lock, because the lock broke down because it cannot stand rain. A BIKE LOCK THAT CANNOT HANDLE RAIN. Customer service as amnesia, you have to explain over and over and over and over and over again what is wrong. They often don't answer at all, or answer very late, or vaguely, hardly seem to speak English at all. Shipments that get stuck, no track and trace code, suddenly, I don;t get a replacement lock at all because I already had one (I've told them 10 times it was broken). They have a rare talent of making their customers VERY angry. Paid a lot of money for a normal bike lock because the electronics get fried by rain.

DEBattery with short life I made a very similar experience to what is described in the previous reviews: I bought 4 Locks 3 years ago and all of them are dead now and can’t be charged anymore. „Support“ says its a battery issue but they are not willing to replace at least 2 of them after the warranty period referring to „company policy“.

DEGood idea, bad quality & customer support Basically, I find the lock and the idea very good. I have three of them, but bought directly from Ziilock. Two of them still work perfectly incl. fingerprint opening. The Bluetooth connection is, as mentioned in some other reviews already okay, but has no special range, means only works in the immediate vicinity of 0 - 5 m. The holder itself is also quite robust, only the fixing straps are a bit slack and torn on one lock after just one year. With the third lock I had a problem. I had bought it 1.5 years ago and put it in the closet, because I wanted to use it for my new bike. Then, unfortunately, everything took a little longer and I got the wheel only now. When I wanted to install the ZiiLock (and took it out of the still unopened package)) the battery would not charge - no matter how many cables I tried. The answer from Customer Service was very terse: Yes, it happens from time to time that the battery is defective. However, it cannot be replaced and the warranty has unfortunately already expired. ...and so I now have a more expensive "dumb" bike lock. IMPORTANT: Check the batteries as soon as you get it and note that there is only 1 year warranty. That would not have happened to me with ABUS.

CABought this Ziilock because it had good reviews Bought this Ziilock because it had good reviews. Either I have a faulty lock or it is rubbish. Can't turn the unit off. It continually beeps every time I move it. The blue tooth on the unit doesn't switch off. When I get the red light and then move it, the light immediately turns to green and beeps - and the reverse. I even unbound it from my iphone and deleted the app. No difference. If I try shipping this thing back it is going to beep in the box and the handler will think it's a bomb!!!! No assistance from support at Ziilock yet ... been a few days already. Very disappointed.

NLDo not buy Ziilock they will brake and have no service Do not buy Ziilock. i bought two of them. it took a long time before they arrived they where delayed. i used one of them for a summer. it has been charged once. the second time i charged it i put it back on my bike and when i needed it it was empty again so i thought. I took it inside from the shed again to charge but no light was coming on it was dead as a doornail. contacted Ziilock and they ask me to take a video from the brick zo i did. after a few months without reply i tried it again. they asked me to sand them some more info. They replied and told me it was the battery that died and it was out of 1 year warrenty. so do not expect it be used a lot it is crap and the company has bad customer service and they take ages to reply.
