"Maybe" a little cheaper but expensive in the end. I booked a car and moments after realized the pickup location wasn't actually at the airport (ORF) even though I started the search with the airport code. Immediately I tried to contact them - but to no avail. Rental was for a Hertz car - no help from them either. You may be able to save a couple of dollars when using this outfit but if something goes wrong - don't expect any form of help. This will be a site to avoid here on out!

Scammers I booked a rental car for 28 days through their website and canceled because I mistakenly booked a car for San Jose, California instead of San Jose, Costa Rica. I called rental car agency Payless and canceled the car. In the agreement with Carrental.com, they include a statement that says if you don’t get any of your money back if you don’t cancel in time. Lost $1300 even though Payless cancelled the car and rentalcars.com did nothing but include a statement which is pretty much a scam.🤯
