GBLook no further! If you're looking for a managed WordPress host, look no further! They use a variety of cloud providers on the back-end to get amazing load times (without us customers having to worry about the complexity, security, and variable pricing if we were to do it ourselves). They also include LiteSpeed caching among other useful plugins, have a great support team, and competitive pricing.

GBSkystra Cloud merged with my web host… Skystra Cloud merged with my web host Ultimate Web Hosting recently (2024). I have been a customer of UWH since 2006 to present and still have 1 year of hosting left. The domain name was up for renewal, seperate from the hosting package, despite opening a ticket and asking for a login to access the control panel to pay the fee, they disputed that I had an account despite earlier stating that I was shut down for sharing illegal content, which was a lie, back in 2019 someone hacked UWH via a PHP exploit which is how my and other accounts became compromised and content was uploaded to the tune of a few hundred gigabutes of data. The domain expired in the 17th March 2024 and despite it being within days of the expiry, Skystra Cloud told me to go and claim my domain from Nominet. It appears that this company has a poor understanding of the situation and despite wishing to continue service to the end of the 2 year hosting package, they turned around and told me that I am not a customer of theirs and that they have advised me of how to claim my domain name and closed the ticket. Does this company think I am a moron, they deny I have an account whilst recounting information in their database about my account and also to go and claim my domain as they have "Released" it so it can be transferred. I tried to open another support ticket but they have blocked me. I looked up the company online and you should do as it does not inspire confidence using a compan ythat is based out of an office in a residential area. Quote " Skystra Staff Operator Thursday, March 21st, 2024 (18:45) We've given you the steps needed for you to get your domain, it's not locked and you can complete this yourself. You are not our customer and you do not have an account with us, so I will be closing this ticket. Thanks, James Web Hosting Advisor" So if I am not a customer, how is it that they can unlock the domain from the hosting account so I can claim it. Talk about bare faced lies, do they really think I am that stupid or are they treating me like the average American client? From my personal experience, it is not a trustworthy company to deal with as they can do to you what they did to me with completely obliterating your host account with refusal to allow access to your files. 0/10 for customer service 0/10 for customer confidence 10/10 for ****hole attitude.

ITWanted to try their software but checked… Wanted to tr their software but checked out their testimonials websites (2 of them have HELLO WORLD) on them! I messaged on Twitter to ask if they could offer me 1 email account on a 30 day trial as I was not convinced by their testimonials and as i have many emails and several websites I was not willing to commit to a move without proof that they could deliver. They simply blocked me. Tells me what I need to know. They have written i got mad which is completely false, they did not reply to the request they simply blocked me. Most software companies offer a trial of some kind to prove their service at which point you sign up and pay, given the number of emails required and number of sites without a test switching service on such flimsy references was not an option.

GBExcellent all round Recently migrated to these guys after my previous hosting company hiked their prices and lowered the quality of the service. Migration was quick, efficient, with no downtime (to sites or emails) and everything is running much faster overall. Couldn't be happier - really happy their sales team reached out to me on Twitter!

GBBanned me from their services I purchased Web Hosting 1 day ago. I was reached out to by somebody called Melissa shortly after my migration had completed, I was then imminently banned. Apparently they didn't see their "services" as "fitting my needs". Given it is Shared Hosting, its a saturated market, and it is very simple, and easy Provider to Provider. There is nothing to not understand about it, furthermore I had a fully functional website and emailbox. I am not sure what her issue was, and she was evasive in answering that actually. If anybody from Skystra wants to reach out, give it 24 hours as I'll have to move my MX records, thanks to you! Though I can't fault Marc, he was brilliant and handled migration flawlessly.
