Suprisingly great app..One major con : file transfer not working Great app..although it looks like a fork of another similar app, it wrks better..suprisingly low latency for a remote desktop kind of app...Although, one feature that was consistently not working for me was : file transfer.. Hope it gets fixed soon

I used Rustdesk I used Rustdesk, which is Foss and privacy conscious. but the main issue i faced was that it was some times slow and lags. That's not the case with Hoptodesk!. But one thing i want to point out is that is that FileTransfer button was not workind during session, dunno why. Overall Loved the app and Security and performance it provides.

Simple and reliable...and free Simple and reliable...and free. I havn't used HopToDesk for more than a couple of months, but so far it has worked great. The most common usage for me is helping my father with computer issues. My father is quite old and computer management is ofter complicated for him, but even he was able to install HopToDesk and start it. Thats a really good indication of how simple it works. Earlier I always used TeamViewer which worked fine but with the few occasion I need it, it's not worth the money. TeamViewer still thought that I used it to much to be free. I use it 1-2 times a month.
