Cortes I always thought that plastic surgery is not for real people with real jobs, and real husband and real kids and responsibilities and a limited budget that stretches thin at the end of each month. I though it is just like trips to Europe, something that only a few can afford and enjoy, and I didn’t feel like a part of that group. This was until my younger sister, who financially was in a much darker place than us, got her new B with dr. Cortes. I was like wow, this is not possible, where did you get the money and wow. I wowed for a whole week before I understood that now plastic surgery is kinda affordable, if you find a good plastic surgeon and you plan it right and it can do wonders for the self-esteem. A few months after the surgery my sister landed her dream job out of nowhere, like literally out of nowhere and we couldn’t place it on anything else but her change of attitude and her new found self confidence. My husband supported me and told me I should go for it and get rid of the pregnancy marks that were left on my body and I went in full force. Dr. Cortes is really good and he said that lipo on the lower back will also make my buttocks look bigger, which is something I always wanted. I got the hourglass tummy tuck with him and some lipo on the back and now I look incredible. In perspective, the surgery was definitely not cheap and I would have never be able to afford it if I’d have to pay it up straight, but with the payment plans presented I found something that we could afford and got it.

Great Doctor Highly Recommended From some points of view I wouldn’t recommend Dr. Cortes, but from others I should. He is very strict in his postoperative care.. He told me before the procedure that I shouldn’t sleep on my back and sit on a chair for three weeks after the fat injections to the buttocks. I thought these are general guidelines, not meant to be very strict. I had to drive the next week after the procedure so I did, I used some pillows, anyway, I told him over the consultation and he said something like if I don’t follow the rules I will end up with nothing after the procedure. That the fat dies and there will be no results to show. He was a bit brisk for my taste, so I didn’t like this. The results were ok after the surgery. There is some fat that was lost, but not too much and all in all my butts look good now. What I liked and the reason I would recommend is that he did the hips too. There is a big different when the hips are done compared to when you get fat just in the buttocks. When I look at pictures on forums with others who had the surgery, it is noticeable that my body looks better as a whole and this is good. So call Dr. Cortes but only if you are willing to do exactly as he says, otherwise you might not like the tone of his voice. In the end it is the results that matter and mine are very good, everybody says so.

Six months ago I had an hourglass tummy… Six months ago I had an hourglass tummy tuck with dr Cortes. The surgery went all well, no complications and I left the hospital in about four hours after. It was all good, until the pain started to be more intense. After the effect of the anesthetic and pain killers were gone, the pain was pretty bad, but I took the pills prescribed by the doctor and it was better then. I couldn’t sleep too well on the first night after the surgery because I was used to sleep on the tummy and this is not recommended after the tummy tuck, but soon I got used to the new resting positions. Before the surgery I didn’t know that I am supposed to walk with the back bent not to put pressure on the incisions and also to sleep with the knees bent. Also, I can tell you it is much easier to get off the bed if you keep a few pillows under your back. The first days can be quite a challenge, at least this was my experience, but in time you get used to things and it gets easier. It was about two months or more until I could walk with the back straight and sleep on the tummy. The swelling was gone by this time and the tummy was like I wanted. My procedure was successful and now I am committed to keep a good diet and exercise from time to time to sustain the results of the intervention. I was pleased with how Dr. Cortes managed the procedure and my recovery period. I can say that he is very attentive to the patient’s needs and quick to answer all requests. You feel looked after at all times and this is important because I heard that many doctors forget to answer their phone after the surgery and this would have scared the hell out of me. I recommend dr. Cortes, he is amazing at these hourglass procedures that he invented. Just look at the results of other patients and you will see what I mean.

I was not a bit I was not a bit, but a lot scared of getting the surgery, but I really wanted to look good again after having three babies that have completely f*ucked up the way my tummy looked.
