Tried Amazon cloud9 and several others, even remote VS, but none compares to the simplicity of remote connection and quick containers. Very happy costumer and I recommend it

Top Web-Based Coding Platform I have been using the Codeanywhere platform for over 7 years now, originally as a free tier member and then as a subscriber, and there has never been a viable alternative that does anything close to what Codeanywhere achieves. Web-based coding makes it easy to manage projects and collaborate on them with others, work directly with FTP or SSH connections, and allows me to share a live link to my container, which is everything I need. Early impressions of the new Theia-based IDE are that it looks like a massive improvement to a platform that already was amazing. Will be continuing to use Codeanywhere as my main IDE for all my web development programming.

The ability to spin up virtual machines and environments based on what you need is a huge plus, and the always-on environment allows me to test without having to turn it on every time. I always recommend this platform to everyone who asks.

No Support after their site SSL expired No Support after their site SSL expired. At the moment, we cannot use their platform due to this inconvenience. What bothers me most, no support acknowledge the situation.

nice to code on the go codeanywhere helps me alot coding from different devices through the day. the web editor is connected via ssh to my server and allows me to perform code changes very quick on the go. also this editor works on devices where i dont have enough permissions to install an editor or ide. code completion could be a bit better but thats usually not a problem when changing only small parts.
