Clients are valued As a first-time author of historical fiction, I had no clue as to how to market my books. I was guided through each step of the way by Tanja and her team who could not have been more considerate. As I live in Australia they were wonderful about finding times when we could chat and went above and beyond. They were very honest in giving advice and could have upsold the service many times but rather than that they continued to make suggestions which worked to my advantage. The owner of the business, Laurence, has thought of many creative ways in which customers can promote their books and for the most part these are freely given. Unlike other companies who seem to forget you once you have signed for the service, BooksGoSocial offers a very personal service responding with a genuinely welcome reply where you have questions. The team understand the ever changing market for authors and are up to date with new technologies. It has been a worthwhile experience for me and I would otherwise have floundered.

Books Go Social is a great company... Books Go Social promised to run Amazon ads for 3 months and they delivered... They promised to send out Tweets for 3 months and they delivered... They promised to get me book reviews on NetGalley and I got 4 5-star book reviews... Books Go Social also got me a very positive editorial review... They also sent out 2 highly effective email blasts... They also allowed me to post ads on their Facebook page... I sold about 20 eBooks with Books Go Social's help... I also talked to Laurence O'Bryan on the phone twice, he's the founder of the company... I think Books Go Social is a great company...

They came through beyond any expectations One month, I thought. I’ll give Books Go Social thirty days to see if they can help get more parents’ eyes on my children’s books. The month isn’t quite up. But the numbers speak for themselves: visits to my author site- up nearly 50%. From as far away as Russia and India. And book sales exponentially increasing as well, especially for my featured book, ‘The Mayfly and the Methuselah Tree.’ I am thrilled with the results. Five Stars are well-deserved. This is a very encouraging way to begin the year.

BGS, you are awesome :) I have recently self published a book, but was clueless about marketing. I hired BGS for their silver package. It was set up for me quickly, and I was able to see the promo posts go up on Twitter several times a day. The marketing person I was assigned was Denis. He replied to my emails within twelve hours, and was friendly and polite. One of the most important things to me is rapport and relatability with whoever I’m working with. The publishing business can be pretentious and very formal, and the the publishing company I used previously sent me generic copied and pasted replies, and the emails were impersonal. When you’ve put your heart and soul into a book, you need to know that the people who are looking after your book know you, know the book, and have a vested interest in its success. I feel that BGS give me the feeling of security and that close working relationship that is so important. In retrospect, I wish I had discovered BGS before I employed another company to initially publish my book. I was happy with the service given to me with the silver package, and it did generate a few sales and reviews to help with gaining awareness of the book’s release. Nothing incredible happened, but BGS worked hard and it definitely helped, alongside a bit of my own promo. I have now employed BGS to set up and run my Amazon ads (which to be frank, is a pain in the ar*e for anyone with limited knowledge!). I have yet to see if the ads generate sales, but if they do, I will keep using BGS indefinitely. Real people with good souls. Top notch, dedicated service. Great pricing structure for indie authors.
