GBAlternative Marketing for Alternative Styles Since the first conversation I've had with Coffin Media I was impressed. Such an amazing vibe!! They listen to what we want as a band than use their skills and talent to make that happen. They are not trying to change who we are as a band, which is amazing. Professional and respectful at all times. I could not be happier with our decision to sign on!

GBCoffin Media Slays I was scrolling through Facebook one evening, and Coffin Media appeared with a sponsored ad on my feed. I was looking for a PR company to help me get more exposure online for the doom metal band I manage, Dead Harrison. As a person with a marketing background, I was thrilled to find a company like Coffin Media, that specializes in niche industries in the goth and metal genres and understands what it takes to get bands to the next level. We had them design a brand new website for us which is simple, yet visually appealing and sets us up to have more visibility in Google rankings. Good things take time and it was well worth the wait! The band is very pleased by how it turned out. Coffin Media has also been extremely helpful to us in reenergizing our fans on social media. Jess our Digital Sorceress has done an amazing job capturing the essence of Dead Harrison's personality, bringing fans together to discuss interesting and spooky topics and give people some much-needed humor to their lives. I would recommend Coffin Media to anyone who is looking to broaden their outreach into the vampire metal, and goth communities. The staff is professional, personable, and communicative, and the ROI is worth it.

GBUpdating to reflect poor practices as… Updating to reflect poor practices as time went on. My employment with Coffin Media had ended in mid-to-late 2021. It was a decently amicable split at the time due to collaborative differences. The short version of the story is that I had never intended to be the social media lackey for the sudden onslaught of band clients that were being taken on. When I signed up to be part of Coffin Media, it was to assist with Coffin Media's internal web properties. The narrative shifted to taking on a ton of band clients and that just wasn't what I signed up for, so I left the job. During my time with Coffin Media I watched a revolving door of broken promises, missed deadlines, and straight up ghosting between David/Zach Morton and his clients. There was a constant string of saying what clients wanted to hear but completely disregarding what he was volunteering to his clients. Before I became employed with Coffin Media, I was a client. Granted, I was a client who was a friend so he was providing services to me for free and for that I was thankful. However, I was also given the same treatment as all of his clients. I was given many empty promises, being told things would be taken care of that never were, etc. He also was not keen to giving me control of the website. I had to be very persistent about him giving me my site's credentials and giving me updating control of the site. Even when he finally gave me the credentials, he locked me out of certain parts of the site and kept control of certain things. This had never sat well with me, but luckily I kept pushing and had enough control over the site to be able to migrate it away from him when Coffin Media went swiftly south. I would later learn that I was lucky in this regard. At the end of 2021, Another co-worker and friend separated from Coffin Media as well. As far as I knew, everything was over. Fast forward to the end of March 2022, Coffin Media still had not returned digital properties to clients who had cut ties in 2021. It took public outcry to resolve the situation. Properties were finally returned on March 28, 2022. I thought that was the end of it. What more could come from this? Well, I was contacted this week by other clients of Coffin Media who are seeking guidance in how to have their properties returned to them. Wondering why Coffin Media has completely ghosted them. What can they do to get their professional lives back from the hands of Coffin Media? It's wild. It's a shame. I absolutely can not advise anyone to work with Coffin Media. Clients beware!
