False advertising I encountered an ad they were running trying to pull clients from Hoth. The ad said "Free Link For Hoth Customers!!" (now I know companies never give anything away for free) But it had no promotion conditions or anything it just linked to a registration page. I registered and tried to get the promotion to find out there was none available. I started a live chat and was encountered with a very rude response - Basically saying I was nuts to believe I would ever get anything for free and they just blamed their system for the issue and that it was out of their hands instead of just saying "Sorry we wrote a misleading ad". I would have left it alone if I wasn't treated so rudely and perhaps if I had been issued an apology instead of met with confrontation. Very very bad first impression. REVIEW UPDATE: A manager did reach out to me and offer me a free backlink finally. They apologized for their employee's behavior.
