I CONTACTED COLONIAL EARLY APRIL FOR A… I CONTACTED COLONIAL EARLY APRIL FOR A COMPARISON TO ANOTHER NATIONWIDE MOVER AND EVERYHTING WAS GREAT UNTIL THE DAY BEFORE MY PICKUP. AT THEN LAST MINUTE THEY'RE USING A 3RD PARTY MOVER AND THE ENTIRE TIME UP UNTIL NOW IT WAS CLEARLY UNDERSTOOD THAT A COLONIAL TRUCK WOULD BE THE PICK AND DELIVERY MODE. I CHECKED OTHER EXPERIENCES ON THIS APP AND MANY OTHER PEOPLE HAD THE SAME THING HAPPEN. I'M SO PISSED OFF AND DISSAPOINTED BECAUSE I'VE BEEN DECEIVED AND I CAN EVEN BEGIN TO EXPRESS HOW DISAPPOINTED I AM WITH THIS COMPANY AFTER ALL THE GREAT THINGS HAPPENED UP TO THIS POINT. ON SATURDAY I RECEIVED A CALL FROM A REPRESENTATIVE OF COLONIAL FOR A REVIEW AND I ASKE HIM WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO PAY AND THEN I ASKED HIM WHO I MAKE THE CHECK OUT TO AND HE TOLD ME (ITX) WHICH WAS A RED FLAG BECAUSE ALL ALONG I WAS EXPECTING A COLONIAL TRUCK. TODAY I SPEAK WITH MY (DEDICATED ACCOUNT MANAGER) AND SHE HAS NO FRIGGEN CLUE HOW TO TAKE CARE OF ME THE CUSTOMER BUT ONLY SPOUT OFF THE BS RESPONCES SHE'S OBVIOUSLY MEMORIZED. NO CARE OR CONCERN WHATSOEVER WITH HOW THIS CHANGE HAS AFFECTED ME. I COULD GO ON AND UNFORTUNATELY THEY HAVE ME OVER A BARREL BECAUSE MY PICK US TOMORROW. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY BECAUSE THEY SAY THEY'RE NOT A BROKER BUT THEY ARE !!!!!!!! WARNING !!!!!!!! VERY, VERY PISSED OFF AND DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER. 4/23: after speaking with first two customer support people and then an escalation manager I have a better understanding of how this business operates and since they're nationwide there's no way they have enough moving trailers so they have to "contract" other companies to meet customer demands. However, they still need to strengthen their customer service and communicate better and earlier in the process if a non-Colonial company will be used. All is good now and I hope tomorrows pickup goes well.

I had excellent experience with… I had excellent experience with colonial vanlines. I read nightmares about stuff being broke/stolen. I was very nervous moving furniture out of state. I made sure I packed all my things including fragile things . They dissassembled the beds and reassembled at the new place. They had tons of blankets to wrap my things for extra protection at no additional cost. Jacob was very professional we went over the items being shipped. He reassured me my things would make it there in one piece I bought extra insurance just in case. They picked up on 25th and delivered on 28th. Jacob called me the day before to confirm delivery. Leslie from vanlines continued to check up on me every step of the way. I received delivery everything was intake. I had bulky stuff with glass and nothing was broke. I would definitely recommend colonial van lines

If I ever need to do a move for my… If I ever need to do a move for my family again, I would use Colonial Van Lines. They made my move for my brother very easy and smooth, I would not have been able to do it with them nor Yony and his crew.

No horror story There are so many horror stories out there about moving companies that I went in to my cross country move with huge doubts. Everyone I spoke to at colonial was helpful and attentive. My movers were from Best Movers and were great. I got exactly what I paid for with no damage to any of my items. Pick up and delivery was orderly and efficient. I could not have asked for a better experience. From Texas to North Carolina.

My experience was exceptional with Colonial Van Lines Moving My experience was exceptional with Colonial Van Lines. The initial service representative was great. He took the time to answer all my questions and explain things when my questions were repeated. He returned my every call and that set me at ease. The quote was in tune with the initial estimate and fairly re-adjusted when things and weight were added. The pickup and loading guys were exceptional. This was turned over to another van lines of which was explained to me. The truck they packed was different than the one that arrived with my items. This was explained that the other truck was being serviced. The delivery and unloading guys were equally as professional and courteous. All the individuals loading and unloading were probably in varying degrees of spanish decent. All were pleasant and we were able to understand each other without incident. I would recommend and used Colonial Van Lines again.
