Either way, it was worth the wait. I had already booked with a mover but Dax (moveBud rep) pointed out they weren't licensed. I ended up booking a container move service after being exhausted dealing with regular moving companies. Would recommend.

I would rate this company 0 star I would rate this company 0 star. We selected a "well-rated" moving company-Proud American from their website for our cross-state move. But it turned out to be a huge nightmare. Our stuff were picked up in California on July 22, and they stayed in some warehouse in California until August 17, and we were only told recently that the stuff will be coming our way in Texas. My friends who used another long distance moving company from California to Texas only took 5 days. Horrible experience to say the least. Yet after I provided the feedback on Proud American to MovingBuddha's founder, there has been no response. Please do not trust the ratings that MovingBuddha gives on the moving companies. Proud American is rated 4 stars on MovingBuddha. But we will not recommend that moving company to anyone. In

Used moveBuddha to compare moving… Used moveBuddha to compare moving options between Los Angeles and San Diego and got some pretty good intel out of the process. It's not perfect, but the estimates were pretty good with gas prices rising and in fluctuations. The most helpful part is the filtering of moving companies and the reviews. There are tons of movers to try to choose from so this is a big convenience. The cons are that you still have to work with the moving company directly, but I've seen the quality of options increase and we ended up using PODS for the move.

Not to be trusted. Ghosted All I could say is I wish I researched this website before using it. I had a terrible experience with a moving company that was recommended by this third party website. Not goin to details but missing boxes, incredibly late delivery, and down right disrespectful service. I mean they literally held my stuff hostage. That said I reached out multiple time to Ryan Carrigan at moving Buddha. The only response I got was fill out our survey. I detailed everything and requested action. NOTHING. I wrote a few times asking to speak on the matter and nothing. Maybe they’re all in bed together. Regardless of my assumptions I would not trust these guys as far as you could throw them. No wonder there reviews are terrible.
