Very well made shoji doors Very well made shoji doors. The plywood kick panels could be a better stain match to the solid cherry elsewhere, but overall very attractive and well constructed. Customer service was very good. Crating for shipment was excellent, which is a good thing. FedEx Freight was a nightmare to deal with, lost (then found) one of the two packages, and obviously treated them very roughly.

Wonderful Product We placed an order for our doors in January. They were shipped in the time frame as promised. They arrived in a crate with a sensor that indicated the package suffered some shock by the freight company but because the crate was so sturdily built, there was no damage to the doors. They are beautiful. We couldn't be happier. Bev, our contact person at Cherry Tree Design, was extremely helpful and made suggestions to customize the design to fit our specific location. We highly recommend Cherry Tree Design.

Extremely pleased with our room dividers Bev is friendly, knowledgeable & responsive. She patiently answered all my questions and guided me through numerous options & ideas. After panels were finished, they were professionally packed in a custom crate and arrived in Honolulu, Hawaii safe and sound. The panels themselves are beautiful! They artistically separate our living room from office/study area, and most common comment when people see them is "Wow!". I found doing business with Cherry Tree Design a pleasure, every step along the way.

Overall a well designed and packaged product. However, there are a few recommendations. Assembly went smoothly except kick panel was .06 inches too high but I could fortunately trim the excess since it was a concealed cut. More thought needs to be put into the valance end caps. Only one mitered end was provided on our custom order. I am to miter the other end plus the two end caps. For anyone except a very well-equipped finish carpenter the average DIY'er will find it impossible to miter the extremely hard, tight grained bamboo without special tools. I didn't do a great job joining the mitered corners and it ruins the effect of the rest of the precision product. No end caps for the extruded aluminum rail are provide so an adhesive has to be applied by the user. I suggest that Cherry Tree Design provide pre-mitered end caps, miters at both ends of the facia piece and leave only one simple square cut for the installer.
