Consistently great workout! I went to OB classes in person back in the day but moved out of state and cancelled my membership as a result. I tried other workouts for ~1 year and never felt like I was getting out of them what I put in. I had been considering getting back into Andrea's classes for awhile but always felt like in person classes help keep me accountable. After some internal back and forth, I decided to go for it and give it a try. I'm just over a month or two in and couldn't be happier! The strength classes are killer and Andrea's barre classes have always been a great workout. I haven't had any accountability issues because I truly look forward to each new workout that is uploaded. The addition of the strength classes compliment the barre classes so well. I find that I am feeling so much more connected in my workouts. Andrea spent time suggesting a workout schedule that best fit what I was looking for and I haven't looked back since!

Open Barre is my favorite workout! I've had the pleasure of being part of Andrea's Open Barre classes for several years, and it's been an incredible fitness journey! Andrea's science-based system, which incorporates a variety of class types targeting different muscle groups, sets these workouts apart. One aspect I truly appreciate is modifications and variations options that Andrea provides during workouts. During my pregnancy and postpartum periods, it was a lifesaver, ensuring I could perform them safely. Her clear explanations of proper exercise techniques and the muscles each routine targets make her classes accessible to everyone, regardless of fitness level. The classes strike a balance between challenging and enjoyable. Andrea provides options for adjusting intensity using props and modifications, and she explains these choices clearly. This flexibility makes the classes suitable for individuals of any fitness level, and progress is inevitable if you stick to the routine. I also took on a 6-week workout challenge with Andrea, as I needed some help into getting back to workout routing safely after I had my baby. Her personalized guidance and schedule were instrumental in improving my body composition and strength significantly. Love Open Barre I started taking classes in person at Open Barre many years ago. I was sad when the location closed close to my office but the Online platform has been amazing. Andrea creates new classes constantly so there are always so many options to choose from if you want to workout on demand. I like being able to search by class type depending on my mood, time available, soreness, and if I'm traveling (minimal props needed)! She also frequently organizes challenges to keep us all motivated and incentivized with great prizes. Andrea is super responsive to questions or concerns and is always very positive. Her classes are so affordable too!

OG in-person member, Newer virtual member I was a member when Open Barre was an in-person studio in the Bay Area for about 4 years. When Andrea moved I canceled my membership and figured if I was going to do virtual workouts, I could do others I already had access to. I am not a naturally fit/active person, and barre is the only workout I actually enjoy. Stopping left me feeling off, like I was missing something. Other workouts left me feeling unchallenged, or I just skipped them because I hated them. I finally joined one of OB’s monthly challenges in May of this year. My body immediately started to respond, I could tell that barre was what was missing! I joined back up as a member and can honestly say it was one of the best decisions for my overall health. I am working up to classes 5 days a week, but even doing 3 days a week regularly, I’ve noticed a change physically and even more so mentally. Andrea is very informative during workouts, gives great cues and modifications, and is very relatable. She is very generous with her time and wants to see her members succeed. She shares all necessary equipment and tools, and will even create customized plans individually. I am so glad I am a member again.

Longtime Client I’ve been taking OB classes (in person and then virtually) since 2018. Andrea is super knowledgeable about physical science and makes each class unique and enjoyable. I’ve been to quite a few barre studios and her classes are by far my favorite! I definitely noticed a change in my body- despite now being in my 30s I feel more in shape than my 20s.
