GBSuch a great product Such a great product. The ordering is quick and painless and the d.i.y. ability helps a no talent hobbyist hack like myself make a floor look beautiful and professional. I have a hard time seeing myself going back to conventional stain and urethane ever again for any wood project. In addition, having no VOCs and the wonderful smell simply add to the enjoyability of working with this product.

GBEasy to apply Easy to apply. Awesome finish. Make sure the wood is properly prepared. Poor sanding will lead to a lower quality finish, but that is to be expected. Although a bit less forgiving than a poly or varnish, the minimal extra work in prep is well worth the ease of application of Monocoat. First time using but will not be my last.

GBFirst time Rubio Monocoat user First time Rubio Monocoat user. Walnut color on Walnut, live edge slab. Turned out beautiful! Built a bar for my wedding reception and the guests were blown away! Served 100+ guests all night long and the stain/finish on the Walnut slab held up perfectly! Not 1 single issue was found the next morning!

GBI used this on natural alder furniture… I used this on natural alder furniture for a bathroom linen cabinet and 6 foot double sink vanity. Easy to apply, and some great depth to the finish. Maintenance oil brought up just enough sheen. After applying, I noticed some glue stains that I missed. Sanded them out and spot reapplied - you can’t even see where the reapplication was - blended right in.

GBWe finished our previously untouched… We finished our previously untouched wide plank pine flooring with Rubio Monocoat 2C oil and absolutely love the results. 4 years later we wanted to spruce up the more high traffic area as it was dull and just starting to look a bit dry. One small bottle of the renew oil was exactly what it needed to return the warm satin sheen. The ordering process was smooth and the delivery was speedy. Great company with great products!
