GBWhere do I begin? I bought a Gazelle Medeo and paid over $3,000. Quality of build is low. Here is what has broken in the first 6 months of ownership: the plastic bell (not loud enough to begin with) fell off, chainguard cracked, front mudflap fell off, rear mudflap fell off, rear tire inner tube blew out stranding me 5 miles out, headlight snapped off while putting into bike rack (thin plastic mount), gear changer does not always work. Long series of headaches. My bike is a lemon. The worst part is the local dealer does not know how to get parts from Gazelle and Gazelle does not allow me to buy them. I am stuck with this nightmare. So dealer put on after market light when I wanted original light. I would give anything to get rid of this bike but spent a huge amount of money.

GBBreak Issue and lack of bottle holder pins/screws I received my bike approx. 10 days ago. I rode my bike about three times and heard a strange noise with my bike's break. For safety reason, I took it to my bike shop and learned that it wasn't installed correctly. It is unfortunate that I experienced such a simple issue so quickly. That's one of the issue. As for on the bike, I feel that missing a water bottle holding screws as a standard offering is unacceptable. From the pictures online, the C380 HMB had water bottle holder screws, while the actual bike is missing them. I am very disappointed that a bike doesn't have water bottle holder screws as a standard feature.

CAI’ve had my Medeo for 18 months and am… I’ve had my Medeo for 18 months and am enjoying every ride I take with it. I recommended Gazelle to a friend and after doing his research bought one as well. I enjoy the pedal assist as you do get a workout every time your exploring the trails and roads around you. The gears change smoothly and you have great vision being a little higher up while riding over a mountain bike.

GBResearch, research, research. After two months of research, I had specs for every brand ebike in an Excel spreadsheet. My first precondition was mid-drive; I did not want a rear hub motor. My criteria were power, performance, build quality, dealer network, post-sale service, warranty, and finally, weight. Gazelle provided the best value overall and that's what I went with. After 4 years I'm 100% pleased with my choice.

GBQuality, convenience, toughness and comfort Gazelle makes quality bikes to fit the mind and body. My ultimate C380 is full of quality components, an easily shiftable and maintenance free hub, and classic style and comfort. I’ve only got 50 miles on it so far, but am looking forward to all my future adventures. It’s exactly what I needed to get out and explore.
