Still isn't here yet It shipped out on July 31st and I haven't received it yet. It is 2 very small items that are being shipped via USPS. Their website said they would be here on Aug. 4th. Still not here yet. Shipping via the postal system is a joke!! Not sure this is GreatLakes fault though...

A Company You Can Trust My first order was for some Milwaukee filters and they arrived very quick. My second order was for a hose replacement. It also arrived very fast. Customer service is very quick to answer email questions. I'll be ordering from them again.

Fast and wonderful service! I got a phone call within an hour of my order advising me that one of the items I wanted wasn't available and was on back order. I believe I received the items including the one I ordered that wasn't available within two days. I will definitely use you again!

Makita 6302H 1/2" Drill I bought this to drill some (10) 3" holes in 3/4" plywood. This is a powerful drill than can break your arm or wrist if not used carefully. The enormous torque at low and very controllable rpm is a huge blessing. Also used to remove/install about 300 large bolts that secure our storm shutters (we live in Palm Beach Gardens FL) for the last hurricane. Proved invaluable. Just an excellent drill for WOODWORKING. Cons: Does NOT have the rpm's to drill steel. For some reason the chuck is more prone to moisture/tarnish (sort of on the edge of rust but not quite) than my 3/8" Makita or 1/4" Craftsman. It's not super heavy - i would recommend this drill! (Very large chuck key - easy on fingers - to easily secure bits)

Excellent first experience with Great Lakes Power Tools. Searched online for a specific Milwaukee recip. saw blade - GLPT had them at a very good price. The shipping charge seemed realistic (not inflated into a profit-center) and the product arrived quickly, and exactly as advertised. I'll shop at Great Lakes Power Tools again.
